On day 11, the electricity came back on. We weren't all that pleased, actually, had been having fun "camping" with the electricity off. Still, makes for easier work when it's working.
There's a lot to be done here, more painting, patching, cleaning, clearing. Rain finally came on Thursday evening late. The creeks were dry and the fields looked parched. Rain fell steadily, calmly, like a rain with a job to do and pacing itself to get it done. It rained all night and all of Friday. Stopped for a bit last night and then took off again this afternoon. Right now, the sky is a mixed medium piece of art. There is enough blue to make a sailor a pair of pants, though, so I'm taking it that means the rain is over for this evening.
On to the many jobs left to be done. Having fun with it all and hopefully will find another moment to post an update at some point.
