My daughter Jennifer wrote a poem that asked,

In what way to shine
did you come here for?

It's the main focus for a lot of us during those times when we can steal a moment from survival and give it thought. It is the focus of this astrology and journaling workbook.  There are eighteen writing prompts that guide the reader/writer toward the discovery of her unique way to shine.

Many astrologers agree that the sun sign is more about what you are here to learn than about who you are. All the many interactions between the sun and moon and the planets in your natal chart, the transiting planets, and your progressed planets tell the unfolding story of your journey toward that sun's potential. My aim with the work in this book is to encourage you in this quest.

In the eighteen writing prompts, you'll be asked to follow the moon, to explore the house of the sun, to people your village, to myth your planets, to chart your tribe and to become better acquainted with your Guide.

In the second section of the workbook, you'll the Goddess of your sun, your moon, and your rising sign. You'll find the personification of all your planets and signs -- for you are every planet and every sign, not only the one you are told about in daily horoscopes.

The third section of the book is a handy collection of the basic facts of astrology: the ten planets, the twelve houses, the modalities, the elements and other necessary references you can use while working with the writing prompts in the first section.
