Clouds rolling in, evening jitters, wakeful nights and projections of doom... eh, that happens.
To remedy, sometimes all it takes is music, art, magic or traveling. But most often, it takes getting your hands dirty. Dirty hands = clean mind.
This winter, it's been housework. Nothing will set me in sync with All-Mama like getting my space all prettied up. Mama, well... and Papa, too, they love to make things lovely. Take a walk in some wild place mankind has not screwed up too much (if you can find one) and you'll see the purest form of art. The colors in nature never clash.
Right now, though, digging in the dirt outside is good for what ails you. Or at least, this works for me.
And on that note, I'm heading back out to move some more earth around and see what Springtime is bringing back to life.

Indeed it does fix "what ails ye." We had a good rain last night which made my weed burning more safe, but also more problematical today. Did a lot of "weed steaming"... which helps, honest!
The herb bed is ready to be hand weeded now, and I saw the first blossom of the wild Johnny Jump ups that want to grow there, amongst the herbs.
In the flower bed, the yarrow is awakening, the mullein is stretching its leaves just a bit and the crocus have given way to grape hyacinth.
Jj, I like the picture of you. And you know, your Springtime is more advanced there than ours is here in W. Greenbrier. The rest of WV seems to be advanced as well. Maybe not Pocohontas co.
But we finally got a few dandelions and there are violets in the yard now. My dahlias are up.
