Story-finding

Ignore the astrologers for a bit. They can't really tell us who we are. They can astound us with insights into us read from the information in our charts. They can read our patterns like a musician reads a score. But they can't tell us our story the way we can tell it ourselves.

The way to know where you're going and you'll get there? Just watch the storyline. See where it's been and you'll know where it's likely to go.

Here we are in the cycle of Aquarius. The sun in this sign is now playing its part in the full moon, with the moon in the opposite sign, Leo.

If you know astrology, even a little bit, you can find these two signs in your chart -- and find their ruling planets, Uraunus for Aqurius and Sun for Leo, and you'll read a bit about your basic plotline and what this full moon means to you.

But things have changed, years have gone by, you've learned and you've forgotten. And now Aquarius is in another house in your chart than it was when you were born. Your sun has changed sign since then. You moon has gone through phases. In some cases, planets have returned again to the placement they had in your natal chart. When the "gods" (planets) change signs, they are on the move in your story. You get plotlines and subplots. You get drama and new characters coming and going, some of whom seem terribly familiar. Sometimes, you get great, wonderful gifts, such as understanding or recognition. Sometimes you remember this story. Other times, it's just out of sight; you get that ominious feel, waiting for something you sort of know is out there (whether it is or not).

And you get all this new story possibility, along with the basic story with which you began. That doesn't go away. Sometimes, the planets, when they are on the move, highlight a part of your original storyline and you find yourself living through some familiar things in possibly different ways.

As an astro-geek, I don't want to tell anyone what's going to happen or if the day is auspicious for them to do whatever it is they're going to do anyway. But I'd love to help find story for my Tribe, my Hearthmates, my Family, my Friends.

And for others who come around and seem to have lost the tip end of the storyline of their lives.

Once we know the plotline, we can make better decisions and use the advantages that come our way and move more gracefully through the rough places.

Follow it through the year. We are in the sun time of Aquarius. Where is Aquarius in your natal chart? Where is Aquarius in your progressed chart?

Another way to begin is to ignore astrology altogether and simply write the main topics of this Solar month in your personal life. What have you been dealing with the most for the last two weeks? You'll be dealing with these same subjects in different ways for the next two weeks. You've been working the rising moon-time of Aquarius' moon-cycle. Today, the halfway point has come. The moon is in Leo.

After today, the moon will work its way down the declining energy of the waning moon and back to Aquarius, before the next cycle (Pisces) begins.

When the moon, waxing, was in Taurus and waning, will be in Scorpio, the energy squares itself. This brings action. It may be nothing more than a new idea that flashes into your mind. It can be a crisis that gives you momentum in working out the details of your story. So note those times too. (A week ago, the moon was in Taurus, a week from now, the moon will be in Scorpio).
