31 days to a Stable environment

I'm taking the writing challenge to post on a single subject for 31 days, beginning on Monday, October 1. My subject is on a single project -- building a Stable for my pretty-good dairy goat, Lilly, and her companion animal (yet to be chosen). But first I have a few things to figure out.
