Day 19 of 31 Days to Know You
KEEPING DREAMS
in dreamtime, we are given a chance to work out problems we know too well in our daytime mind. In the safe environment of dreaming, we can explore areas of our lives that we don't dare expose to the light of day -- until the day when we can open them to the sunlight.
Keeping a dream journal
If you don't remember your dreams, it's because you have stopped paying attention to them or because you don't sleep long enough to enter into dreamtime. Try keeping a small notebook and pen by your bed. When you dream -- and wake -- take a moment to write down as much as you recall of the dream.
Enter the dream
You can enter your dream once you leave it. If you become frightened and leave a dream, you can think yourself back into it. It takes practice to begin to do this. Once you re-enter your dream, knowing that you are dreaming, you can challenge whatever you find there that once frightened you.
Knowing You
Even if you don't wish to work with your dreams, by keeping a dream journal, you can find out more about who you are. When you know who you are, not simply who you were shaped into being by others and by circumstances, you can begin to live authentically, sending out a true vibration of yourSelf, which then calls to you those who are among your true Family and Tribe.
Keeping Dreams
is one more way of getting to know who you are
who you were designed to be.
