DAY 6

Day 6 of   31 Days to Know You

What did you do today?

What did you do yesterday?

What will you do tomorrow?

I don't mean I went to work -- I baked bread -- I volunteered at the soup kitchen.

What did you do between or behind those things.

Who You Are
is directly related to
What you Do

Do you pray a lot? Hum under your breath? Do you generally give the other fellow the benefit of the doubt? Do you talk about what everyone else is doing (a way to work out your own problems one step away). Do you criticize yourself or think encouraging thoughts?  Do you judge the person you see in front of you? Do you really listen to another person when s/he talks? Do you daydream? Are you actively pursuing the future you want to see? Do you have buyers remorse when you buy even small things or can you spend money like it's going out of style without even a backward glance?  Do you obsess over thrift? Do you give to charity or do charitable acts? (Add to this list as needed -- as applies to you -- make a list of "good" and another of "bad".)

Who You Are
is not the same as
What you Do

Who You Are
is found in the
Reasons Why
You Do What You Do

After you've made your list, write a page (or three) about WHY you do what you do.

Now you are finding
your way to
the Character you Are.
In the Current Story.

This is still not who you are -- but it gives a clue to what is in the way of you becoming
WHO YOU ARE
