It would be so much simpler if, when we meet, we are not running each other through the judgement mill -- is this someone worth my time? Is this someone as good as/ better than me?
There is a rune called Gebo -- looks like a big X -- it means "meet them where they meet you" -- it means "Gift" -- We can find the gift, we can give the gift -- if we stop judging and start being ourselves so strongly that we cease to let someone else overshadow us, and yet we don't have the need to overshadow someone else.
For the person who has this as their sign, accept yourself unconditionally.
What has this day meant to me? We made our final decision on the house we're living in. We're leaving it, one way or two. It's a good house, a quiet neighborhood. Good garden space and workshop. At the end of a road and no one ever bothers us, here.
In the morning you hear roosters crow from across the street and up the block. You hear the train whistle. No cars close enough to hassle because we're on a dead end road -- they travel one block over.
We've been here 4 years. Two of those years we raised large gardens, good crops. The ground has been fallow this past year and so, is ready for a good garden again. The workshop is set up for making looms or anything else your creativity can offer. There are alleyways all over town for riding bikes, for cross-country skiing in winter.
If this sounds like an ad -- maybe it is. This house is solid, low maintenance and large enough without being too large. The price is right at $42,000. And there may be a bit of wiggle room there in that price. So -- yeah -- come and buy yourself a nice quiet place with a garden and workshop, thirty miles from a lovely lake in Summersville and thirty miles from the coolest small town of Lewisburg.
And the town? It has the usual: MacDonalds, Dairy Queen, Subway, Go-Mart, Krogers
Me? I'm packing boxes today. It's time.

I know it's had lots of love for a few years and would be a good place to live. Or even live part time, if I could afford a second place. I'd want it to be in WV.

Thank you, Barb -- We won't be moving too far away -- just over to Lewisburg area (for now). And we still have the little acre over in Nicholas county which we will still work on. We'll be renting for awhile.
